Everlane's has always been at the forefront of sustainable fashion and now the chain is taking another step in a green direction with its ReCashmere sweater collection. Not only is the new line the latest environmentally-conscious offering from the brand, but its also part of a seasonal fall lineup.
Everlane's new ReCashmere sweater collection consists of five vintage-inspired sweaters that will keep you warm (and stylish) on chilly fall days. The sweaters are made from 60% recycled cashmere and 40% extra-fine merino wool. For the recycled fabric, Everlane worked with a mill in Prato, Italy to collect pre-owned cashmere sweaters. The material is then woven into entirely new styles like cardigans, V-necks, and crewnecks to create sweaters that "have a 50% smaller carbon footprint than traditional cashmere."
