Ranchbot, a ranch technology company, raised more than US$15 million in Series B financing and established Ranchbot Technology Holdings Inc. as its new Delaware-based global parent company. The funding round was led by Lewis & Clark Partners, with participation from Fulcrum Global Capital, Builders VC, The Cultiv8 Livestock Technology Fund, Lever VC and Macdoch Ventures.
Ranchbot’s platform uses IoT devices and near real-time satellite connectivity to help producers remotely monitor water infrastructure and manage ranch operations. The new funding will support expansion across the United States and Australia, further development of hardware and software, and additional technologies covering livestock, wildlife, soil, pasture, biodiversity and other ranch infrastructure. Ranchbot currently supports more than 12,000 customers managing approximately 10 million cattle and 15 million sheep.
For producers, the platform is designed to reduce labor and fuel costs while improving operational visibility, productivity and animal welfare through remote infrastructure monitoring and actionable field data.
