In an effort to start a conversation about creating spaces that are welcoming and inclusive for LGBTQ people, Toronto Pride Month is hosting a special edition of a monthly event called 'Queers for Dinner.'
Queers for Dinner is a dining event held at a local restaurant each month as a way of bringing together LGBTQ people and allies. This June, a special Pride Month edition is being held in Toronto's Christie Pits to give more people an opportunity to connect with the LGBTQ community. The event will consist of an outdoor picnic, complete with snacks, frisbee, board games and conversations about how to create more inclusive spaces in the city.
With Toronto Pride Month well underway, the event provides a perfect opportunity for LGBTQ folks and allies to come together and learn from one another's experiences.
