The Elevated Quake II Game is Now on PC and Consoles

The remastered version of the Quake II game is now rolling out to PC and consoles. The classic game first launched back in 1997 and gets an update including brand new expansions, visual updates, crossplay, and other accessibility features. It can be played on "PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch."

The remastered edition is on Game Pass and those who have the original game on Steam or GOG are also eligible to get a free upgrade as well. Nightdive Studios made this possible with the help of Bethesda to create a modern version of the first-person shooter game. Some of the accessibility options include high contrast, voice transcriptions, aim assist, and more.
