Modern architecture studio CLB Architects has built a contemporary, incredibly stylish, and quaint home in Teton Village, Wyoming. The structure, which "lies at the base of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort," makes for an excellent escape for the clients—who are from Chicago—where they can relax and enjoy nature, either through hikes, skiing, and other mountain activities.
CLB Architects focused on recreating the coziness of traditional and homey Swiss chalets. The design studio sought a balance between private and public when designing the quaint home. Titled 'Four Pines,' the structure maximizes views of the outside for the dwellers' enjoyment but also offers many spaces for privacy. The interior is also quite spacious. The combination of vertical cedar siding and local grey stone also makes for an interesting and balanced aesthetic.
