Puppet Show Runways

Jeremy Scott Opted to Put on a Puppet Show Runway for Moschino

To debut his Spring/Summer 2021 collection, Jeremy Scott opted to put on a puppet show runway for Moschino. This moves speaks to the creativity designers are tasked with in light of social distancing guidelines and regulations put in place to slow the transmission of COVID-19. While many runway shows are going virtual, this highly creative and intricate stunt makes for a memorable and artistic expression.

The marionette-style puppet 'models' are seen walking down the runway sporting the latest looks from the collection. Each model is approximately 30 cm tall, boasting small-scale clothes to match. What's more is that puppet iterations of famous figures can be seen in the front row, including Anna Wintour and Hamish Bowles. The dramatic collection is perfectly reflected through the fantastical nature in which its presented.
