The cocktail features a cream base made with condensed milk topped with pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, golden rum and a lemon-lime soda. The ingredients are mixed together in a blender with ice and served in a martini glass. To add the crust element to this pumpkin pie drink a homemade cookie is made using pie dough. The dough is cut into a jack-o'-lantern shape and sandwiched together with whipped cream and cinnamon. The cookie is served on the side of the daiquiri combining both the pumpkin filling and pie crust in new formats.
