The late Andy Warhol's art makes another mark on the fashion industry with Calvin Klein's latest collection of provocative underwear. Done in collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation, the capsule is created to "celebrate the human physique." The label releases a series of its signature bralettes, bikinis, trunks and boxer briefs that boast decentralized images of the artist's photography. The provocative underwear collection is dubbed 'Andy Warhol: Exposures, '77-'85.' It features anonymous body-enhancing portraits of New York men. Select images also exhibit former model Daniela Morera who had a professional affiliation with Warhol.
Taking into consideration the popularity of Calvin Klein's silhouettes, the slightly minimalist construction of the items, as well as the immense following of Andy Warhol, the provocative underwear collection will, without a doubt, generate some interest across the spectrum.
