Provocative Runway Shows

Moschino Recently Debuted Its Sultry Fall 2018 Collection

Luxury brand Moschino challenged conventional gender assumptions and surrounding stigmas with its exceedingly provocative runway show, which showcased dominatrix-inspired and leather-prominent high fashion designs. The sultry collection was heavily monopolized by strappy clothing, newspaper-style fragments, leather masks, glossy black surfaces, lingerie and gowns that added to the shock and kink factor of the runway show. Moschino's line up definitely succeeded in sparking the conversation of expression and oppression within the walls of the high fashion industry.

In an interview, Moschino's designer Jeremy Scott speaks of Madonna's 'Express Yourself' in relation to the outrageously honest and open aspects of this fall's clothing and credits the provocative runway show to being "very much in line with what our great forefather Madonna laid out."
