Fashion-Forward AI-Powered Pollution Wearables

Seymourpowell's Protective Wearable is Ultra-Chic

A new style of protective wearable for city-dwellers is made available thanks to London studio Seymourpowell. Dubbed 'Atmosphère,' the device "combines environmental protection with on-the-go personalized beauty treatments." It taps artificial intelligence to map where the user is and appropriately respond to the environment. The protective wearable also takes the user's personal data — from skin type to the needs of the body, into consideration. It uses this information to achieve optimal environmental protection (filtering the air around the user is one example of this), while also attempting to contribute to bodily homeostasis and replace the skincare ritual by dispensing beauty products in the form of vapor. This is especially important as an implication of the Atmosphère protective wearable is that one does not need to reapply sun protection on-the-go.
