It is safe to say that without clothing and shelter, the human body is very vulnerable, yet the photo series titled Protection by Henrik Sorensen shows that when combined with others, despite them also being bared to the elements, that once-frail frame is made much stronger. A beautiful collection of images, it shows the resilience of the human species when it is bound together in love, harmony and, of course, protectiveness.
With art direction by Gem Fletcher, the photo series Protection by Henrik Sorensen is shot on a desolate backdrop, dry and barren without any sign of life aside from the few huddled humans. Yet the strength of their resolve and acceptance makes this series stunning to behold. It makes one wonder what it would be like to simply live off the earth once again.
