The NSFW-styled marketing technique has been proven to get exposure, stimulate controversy and empower the public, as seen with American Apparel's highly disruptive advertising methods.
Last year, the Eckhaus Latta debuted an extremely seductive and scandalous campaign. In 2018 the New York-based company is following up with a more free-spirited and body-centered approach. Highlighting the high-waisted and well-fitting retro denim silhouettes, the models appropriate a clown aesthetic and emulate iconic postures as they are captured by Hanna Moon's lens.
Somewhat seductive and extremely free-spirited, the promotional photoshoot depicts topless models with confident and happy expressions, who feel comfortable in their bodies, as well as their retro jeans.
