Productos Meza Boasts a Modern Aesthetic That Captures Attention

Produce packaging designs are not usually captivating through aesthetic, but Productos Meza—a brand that "grows and packs vegetables and tubers of different varieties"—is seeking to change this. Last year, the businesses underwent a huge style overhaul in order to communicate a modern identity and capture the attention of younger consumers who are looking for fresh veggies. Graphic designer Luisa Bustamante was commissioned for the logo design, while Jushith Cuba worked on the label design. The latter required two types—one for tubers and another for vegetables.

For the tubers, Jushith Cuba came up with thick paper ribbons that could be sewn onto jute bags. For vegetables like spinach, on the other hand, the designer created hanging paper labels.
