Before anything else, product packaging typically is meant to appeal to the eyes—but in order to show off 'The Power of Paper,' Neenah created a printed packaging promotion filled with paper samples to treat the eyes and other senses.
The standout in this set of printed samples is a scratch-n-sniff cookie box, which evokes the scent of a warm, freshly baked cookie batch. Although the real scent may not be as powerful anymore on a prepackaged cookie, this scented box design is a fun way to revive the aroma. Other paper samples in The Power of Paper set include luxury perfume boxes, 2D hangtags and retail gift card sleeves. By showing off the range of colors and textures in its assortment for commercial and luxury packaging, Neenah hopes to emphasize that digital technology allows for the creation of short-run, customized printed projects.
