This new Primera curriculum has been debuted by the specialty printer brand as a way to incorporate its hardware into STEM/STEAM educational experiences. The curriculum comes as a first of its kind for the industry that will cover grades five through 8 and nine through 12 with Eddie The Edible Ink Printer and the Freddie The Frosting Machine. The equipment is NSF-certified and ready to be used in the classroom thanks to its prowess in professional bakeries and commercial kitchens alike.
Vice President of Sales & Marketing Mark Strobel spoke on the Primera curriculum saying, "No one in this industry has ever focused on schools – not with professional-grade equipment, and certainly not with a real curriculum. We now have a complete program from fifth grade through twelfth grade. A teacher can walk into the classroom on Day 1 and know exactly what to do through Day 90 or Day 180, depending on the course. There is nothing else like this in the market.”
