The Powerpuff Girls Emporium was created by the Cartoon Network as a result of research that shows that "only one in ten of all superhero films have a female lead" – a fact which means that the few Superheros young girls can better relate to should be celebrated.
Entry to the Powerpuff Girls Emporium is free, and the space is based in central London, England. It features a "makeup and nail bar, a punchbag area, a Powerpuff Yourself zone with its own coloring wall, and a power science cafe where visitors can carry out their own experiments."
This unique space evokes a sense of nostalgia in those who grew up watching the iconic TV show it is based on, and gives young girls relatable fictional characters to look up to.
