Concrete is often considered to be an impermeable material, yet the Power Switch Light by Danius makes walls made of the mix look peculiarly penetrable. As an experiment to amalgamate both fixture and switch, this compelling concept emerges to reveal a cool and contemporary aesthetic.
Povilas Danius's concept proposes wall lights that are literally cut into the face of a mural, ranging in depth from 5 centimeters to 15 centimeters. He states that the extraordinary illuminators can be installed in a wall of 15cm deep, with their surface incised in the shape of circles with diameters of 10 to 30 centimeters.
Remaining flush against the wall when not in use, the Power Switch Light by Danius needs only a simple touch to pop out. The golden halo of lamp light can be turned off again with a gentle press on its cap.
