Smoke’s Poutinerie, a Canadian franchise that's based out of Toronto, will host this year's World Poutine Eating Championship. The patriotic eating contest is done in support of a charity called Friends of We Care, which aims to bring joy to children who are living with disabilities.
The Poutine Eating Championship is set to take place on October 13th, and will feature three different eating competitions. Over the course of the events, both professional and amateur eaters from all over will take the stage to raise funds for the charity.
In addition to providing funds to send more children to Friends of We Care's accessible Easter Seals summer camps, the Poutine Eating Championship will offer a full day of Canadiana fun that all are welcome to take part in.
