AMT Debuted the Desktop 'PostPro UP' for Unpacking Workloads

The PostPro UP is an industrial‑grade automated unpacking system designed to streamline the removal of unfused powder from polymer additive manufacturing build cakes. The system uses a combination of mechanical vibration, pressurised air blasting, and rotating‑drum motion to achieve consistent, repeatable unpacking and is intended for integration into high‑volume production workflows. While this is an industrial-grade system, it is important to note that it is also available for consumers.

The PostPro UP integrates with AMT’s Powder Recovery System to separate and transfer recovered powder for reuse and is available in configurations that support major printing platforms including HP MJF 5200, EOS P3 and SAF. External dimensions, typical unpacking times, compatible materials (for example PA11, PA12 and TPU), and air consumption specifications are provided by the manufacturer to inform facility planning and workflow integration.
