Stephen McCarthy has created 'Poo Pins' in an effort to shed light on people who don’t pick up their dog's poop. McCarthy's invention is a small pin that can be placed on the doggy doo-doo to let other people know which areas to avoid stepping or biking through.
The pins are made of a biodegradable rock material. When they are left in the sun for an extended period of time they will simply disintegrate. This makes them eco-friendly, causing no harm or litter to the earth.
The Poo Pins are designed to make light of the not-so-enjoyable experience. The dog poop pins have humorous text on them such as “It’s big and brown, don’t leave it hanging around." The Poo Pin creators have launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund their project with hopes that this will help keep parks and streets clean of left behind dog poop.
