Twisted Pokemon Pictures

These Tim Burton-Inspired Illustrations Put a Dark Spin on Cute Cartoons

These Pokemon pictures put a dark twist on the cute cartoon characters. The series of Pokemon pictures have been inspired by the works of Tim Burton, the creator of popular animated movies like 'The Nightmare Before Christmas.'

These dark Pokemon pictures are the brainchild of Vaughn Pinpin or 'Hat Boy.' Pinpin is an illustrator and a Visual Communication student who attends the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts. Pinpin has been working on this Tim Burton-Inspired Pokemon illustration project that he calls 'Tim Burton x PKMN,' where he plans on recreating all 151 of the original Pokemon characters.

These Pokemon drawings all bear a perfect hybrid resemblance to the original characters with a dark twist that reflects the works of Tim Burton flawlessly.
