Cassandra Downs' Pokemon Gym Logos are Creative and Whimsical

The whimsical Pokemon gym logos that creative artist Cassandra Downs has developed are wildly imaginative. The varied illustrations take a look at what the different Pokemon city gym's would use for branding. Designed in a classic advertisement style, the illustrations are both aesthetically pleasing and praiseworthy.

Downs does a great job delving into her imagination to come up with both the different gym logos that the cities would have, as well as the clever sayings that go with them. The 'Cinnabar Island' gym comes equipped with the motivation message "Feel The Burn," as it's paired with a logo of an exploding volcano. All of the illustrations have a vintage feel as Downs used a lot of grunge effects to eliminate various parts of the different graphics. The color theme that she went with fits perfectly with the cartoon feel that the Pokemon brand embodies.
