Pokemon GO is a brand new mobile app-based game that is perhaps best described as Pokemon for adults.
The game works on the premise that there are pocket monsters lurking around the world, and it's up to you to find them. The app works in conjunction with the GPS technology on your phone to give you a notification when there's one hanging out nearby. The game guarantees a pocket monster within five minutes of anyone.
Once you check out the app upon being notified, you'll see a Bulbusaur or a Pikachu on your phone superimposed into the real world thanks to your phone camera. You can then swipe the screen to capture the creature.
This game may be the first Pokemon for adults, and considering the unique manner in which it colors the boring real world with pocket monster characters, there's no reason why it can't take off in a big way.
