IHeartMedia recently revealed a podcast marketplace for ads, which was created to provide an avenue for advertisers to reach podcast listeners. The podcast marketplace is named 'AdSuite' and it provides a number of different formats, which enable advertisers to customize their ads.
IHeartMedia also has dynamic and streaming ad insertion, or DSAI, as well as local ad insertion, or LAI. Both DSAI and LAI are able to help advertisers target audiences and changes can be made in real-time in order to optimize the reach of an ad. However, the new ad tools do not hinder the listing experience.
Podcast audiences continue to grow and advertisers are taking notice. As a result, new tools are being developed to help advertisers reach podcast listeners.
