The PlayStation Classic may be just a few weeks old, but 8BitDo has already developed a wireless PlayStation adapter that allows the console to use modern controllers. Plugging straight into the standard PlayStation Classic controller port, this adapter connects simply to the standard versions of Sony's DualShock 3 and 4, as well as through Bluetooth to Xbox controllers, Switch Pro, Wii U Pro, and even Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons.
According to 8BitDo, the PlayStation adapter will offer lag-free connections between a controller and the console. This should drastically improve the gaming experience for the PlayStation Classic and ensures players won't have to source original controllers for the retro console. The PlayStation apter is currently up for pre-order and costs just $19.99.
