Photographer Iciar J. Carrasco had a specific model in mind when he conceptualized this playful editorial for C-Heads.
Grace embodied the fresh look and vibe that Carrasco envisioned for the exclusive feature. He explains, “Her features and attitude were the perfect ones for what we wanted. After we had her as a model, we picked the clothes, all kind of minimal summer items. Then we had to think of a place that gave a summer feeling[,] but the sea was far and pools were difficult to shoot at because they were crowded, so instead we decided to shoot at a swimming pool store to give a very strange[,] yet nice atmosphere.” Indeed, the swimming pool store almost looks like an abandoned playground.
Carrasco was assisted by art director Berta Bernad and styling Cristina Malcorra to bring the editorial to completion.
