It's not new for parents to purchase a play kitchen for their kids but the shape of these playsets is changing as people are striving to be more connected with the food they eat. KidKraft's Farm-to-Table Play Kitchen for kids ages three to eight is outfitted with a chalkboard, hooks for hanging kitchen tools and a window box where toy carrots and purple onions can be "planted."
The kitchen playset also includes a farmhouse-style sink with lights and running water sounds to teach kids the importance of washing their hands, as well as a cooktop with light and sound motion sensors. To keep things tidy and encourage kids to see the benefits of organization, the play kitchen also comes with wood-like storage crates and compartment styled like a fridge.
