Taiwan is embracing the movement toward gluten-, cruelty- and animal-free dining with its own plant-based restaurant in Taipei. The Plants Eatery is founded and operated by two "longtime plant-based whole foods enthusiasts." The mission behind the establishment is to provide a welcoming space for a "delicious, nourishing and sustainable" dining experience. The food is prepared with care and emphasis on a wholesome and largely flavorful menu.
In addition, the plant-based restaurant makes use of "organic seasonal fruits and vegetables [that are] grown by passionate local farmers." As a result, Plants Eatery does not only provide Taipei with a new way to experience healthy nutritious food. It also strengthens the community through the support of local produce.
