The Volet Végétal plant holder lets those with a green thumb thrive in small spaces. The window gardening unit allows apartment owners to compromise and still tend a small garden without giving up their high rise lifestyle.
Designed by Nicolas Barreau and Jules Charbonnet, the Volet Végétal makes use of a clever pulley system which allows you to lower your urban garden into direct sunlight from your window. When pulled into its vertical position, the plants rotate accordingly, offering enough space for three large planters to sit inside the window frame. The device also works as a free standing garden indoors if necessary.
The creative gardening tool is ideal for people wishing to grow their own plants, produce or herbs but who don't have adequate space to do so.
