Embroidered Planetary Art

An Artist Creates Planet Art That Almost Resembles Photographs

It is difficult for most people to create any form of planet art, let alone realistic looking planets that are embroidered.

The planet art is created by Navid Baraty who has a scientific background and is interested in the subject through working with and observing NASA, the National Geographic and Getty Images. While the artist normally takes beautiful photographs, the planets he manages to create through embroidery also look almost like the real thing. The artist manages to accurately capture -- in colors, shapes and silhouettes -- the planets in our solar system. Though it is clear that they are embroidered when examined up close, the planet compositions resemble photographs when viewed from afar.

Using his passion for art, science and photography, Navid Baraty creates inspirational projects that everyone can enjoy.
