Stone Island's Placcato Collection Arrives for the SS19 Season

Technical fashion label Stone Island introduces the new Placcato collection for the Spring/Summer 2019 season and it is complete with a plethora of silhouettes. The range features tops, pants, accessories, and outerwear options constructed from cotton canvas materials that have gone through a special pigmented resin process. The over-dying method gives the pieces a chalky finish, resulting in a pastel color palette.

In addition to the signature tops and shorts, the seasonal range highlights the field jackets made with cotton tela and pigmented resin. It is also accented with hardware details that have also gone through the same dye process. The vest is made with a special malfile cotton fleece and tela placcata applications. Notably, the special cargo pants are also constructed from cotton tela and the crewneck sweater features malfile cotton fleece.
