Little Caesars is now introducing an innovative new service called RESERVE-N-READY and a device called the Pizza Portal, which is said to be the "first heated, self-service mobile order pick-up station in the quick service restaurant industry."
After placing a mobile order and paying via the Little Caesars mobile app, consumers will receive a notification when their pizza is ready for pick-up. Rather than joining the line in-store, customers may visit the Pizza Portal and input their three-digit pin or scan a QR code to access their order.
While there are plenty of in-store stations now being experimented with for the delivery and pick-up of online goods, Little Caesars is setting a new precedent for the restaurant industry with the introduction of its Pizza Portals in select locations.
