The Pink Car Service, which can be used on smartphones via an iTunes and Android app, largely employs female drivers to lend an added sense of security to women looking for rides. What's more, all drivers are put through a highly rigorous and selective training and application process.

But what truly makes this rideshare service unique is the fact that it also requires customers to go through a screening process, ensuring that both drivers and passengers can enjoy peace of mind.
