Photographer Kevin Kunishi documents a Nicaraguan parade featuring children dressed up as adults. The series, appropriately entitled 'Desfilia' -- which is translated to "parade" -- shows a series of pictures taken in a city called Jinotega. This is a city the photographer would travel to every other weekend while living there for over a year.

His travels to the city, as well as the captures, were a nice change for photographer Kevin Kunishi , who was there to document those involved in the civil war between the Contras and Sadinistas. Every Sunday was a day to celebrate in this city as parades would be occurring on a frequent basis. As the pictures attest to, children and teenagers would be frequently seen dressed up in elaborate costumes. As some opted for their finest Sunday attire, others went all out donning outlandish ensembles.
