ZTE is Asking Consumers to Build its Next Smartphone

ZTE Corporation is one of the largest global communication brands and for the company's next smartphone device scheduled to unveil next year, the team has asked its consumers to aid in the making of the phone's design. Furthermore, ZTE has put out a call to its shoppers to crowdsource the new aesthetic by connecting with the company online. The campaign, entitled Project CSX, will see consumers influence the features and functionality of the next smartphone model.

Project CSX puts the control in the hands of the consumer by asking via a online submission platform for consumers to share their ideas on how they would like the next ZTE smartphone to look and perform. The project even expands past the aim to crowdsource a design of a phone, by also allowing consumers to share thoughts on tablets and smartwatches. The only catch is all ideas submitted have to be feasible.
