Parisian product design studio 1026 launches a Kickstarter for a personal self-help book that gives agency to the reader. Centered around wellness and motivation, as well as the idea of achieving one's best possible self, 'Dear Monday' boasts 30 challenges, each one starting on a Monday and lasting throughout the week.
1026 strategically chose and arranged the challenges to be gradual in difficulty and to address shaky psyches. Each draws inspiration from "practical cases of psychology, [and] scientific experiences [...] around neurosciences and modern philosophy."
The personal self-help book puts the user in the role of the protagonist which will definitely contribute positively to healing, as it is based on action and not on passive receiving of information which is something traditional products rely on.
