The Latest Perry Ellis Collection is Designed for the Elegant City Dweller

Michael Maccari's Spring/Summer 2015 collection for Perry Ellis was showcased during New York Fashion Week. The sophisticated menswear collection boasted the brand's signature, preppy aesthetic and infused it with sporty accents that would appeal to the city dweller on-the-go.

So far, New York Fashion Week has been more about practicality and wearable design rather than drama and the latest Perry Ellis collection is no exception.

The brand's runway presentation was a revival of 90s yuppy styles that would appeal to American Psycho's Patrick Bateman but also featured unexpected looks that embodied an effortlessly cool aesthetic. In addition to its causal suits, the collection featured printed shorts, windbreakers and lightweight knits that were targeted toward the style-conscious urban dweller.
