At this point, there are lots of wearable technology products dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of the wearer, from pedometers to period tracker pendants. Bellabeat is releasing a limited edition smart jewelry piece designed to track the menstruation and ovulation cycles in women, as well as monitoring stress, sleep, nutrition and other activity.
The $250 Leaf is made out of dark marshwood that is 7,000 years old and has a 14-carat gold leaf plating finish. The waterproof period tracker can be worn around the neck as a pendant, as a bracelet or clipped onto clothing. Even though it hardly looks like an electronic device, the Leaf offers real-time health feedback through its accompanying app.
