MacPaw has introduced perfumed laptop cleaning sprays with CleanMyMac Mist, its first physical product designed to combine device maintenance with fragrance. Unlike conventional screen cleaners, the limited-edition mist brings a perfume-inspired experience to cleaning Mac screens and keyboards, featuring a Frosted Juniper scent while following Apple's device-care guidelines.
Developed in a Ukrainian product design lab, the fragrance blends citrus, camphor, and ozone with juniper, pine, eucalyptus, and cedar notes. The product responds to concerns about improper device cleaning, with MacPaw's survey of 780 U.S. Mac owners finding that one-third had damaged their computers while cleaning them. Only 100 bottles are available through an Instagram giveaway.
For technology companies, this release demonstrates opportunities to extend digital services into physical lifestyle products. MacPaw's approach also introduces a sensory element to routine device care, potentially strengthening consumer engagement with its CleanMyMac brand.
