People’s Choice Cider Supports Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance

People’s Choice Cider has been debuted from Purbeck Cider as a charitable refreshment for fans to try out that will support a good cause.

The cider has a light, crispy character with a medium sweetness and a still profile with delicate aromas of floral and citrus in every sip. The cider is made using 100% single-pressed, locally-grown apples and boasts a 4.6% ABV to keep it in line with other varieties on the market. The cider is arriving in three-liter pouches and 20-liter Bag-in-Boxes, and will see £1 from every liter sold donated to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

Corporate Partnerships Lead Erika Singh spoke on the People’s Choice Cider saying, "Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance is delighted to be chosen as Purbeck Cider’s charity partner for their People’s Choice cider. This initiative is a real celebration of community spirit, from the apples donated at Apple Day to the funds raised for our life-saving charity through every sale of this special cider."

Trend Themes

  1. Community-sourced Ingredients — Local apple donations enable hyperlocal supply chains that can upend commodity sourcing and create traceable provenance as a selling point.
  2. Charitable Consumption — Linking a fixed donation per unit sold introduces a cause-linked purchasing model that could redefine consumer loyalty and brand purpose economics.
  3. Alternative Sustainable Packaging — Three-Liter Pouches And Bag-In-Box Formats shift distribution and waste profiles, offering lower-cost bulk retailing and new refillable service possibilities.

Industry Implications

  1. Beverage Production — Single-Pressed, Locally-Grown Fruit Processing supports micro-scaled artisanal production methods that challenge large-scale centralized manufacturing.
  2. Retail and Hospitality — On-Premise And Off-Premise Sales Of Bagged Bulk Cider open opportunities for flexible pour systems and expanded draft offerings beyond traditional kegs.
  3. Nonprofit Fundraising — Product-Linked Revenue Sharing offers predictable contributions tied to consumer behavior, transforming episodic donations into sustained earned income streams.
