Pedro Nakazato Andrade has designed an extremely interesting concept that will change the medical field.
Normally when a person breaks or fractures their arm, going into the hospital for check-ups becomes a daily routine. Pedro Nakazato Andrade allows doctors to keep check on their patients recovery progress with a high-tech cast called Bones. Bones features sensors inside that captures muscle activity around the fractured area via EMG (electromyographic) sensors. All that information gets synced to the user's profile on a website in which they can look at their progress, achievements and suggested exercises that will help build back the muscle that was lost in the accident. Doctors can access this site and check on their patients as they recover.
Bones is an incredible invention that will reduce recovery time and allow patients and doctors to personally monitor progress at all times.
