The Alizeti 300C is an innovative new bike conversion system that manages to take humble bicycle racks and turn them into pedal-assisting gadgets.

Weighing in at only 11 pounds, these bicycle racks come fully equipped with a 500-watt motor that is designed to be hooked up to a bicycle's rear wheels. Once this is set up, you can select between various levels of pedal assistance, that range from zero assistance to full-throttle electric motoring. The system is capable of generating a top speed in the region of 32 km/h.

Not only does the Alizeti 300C offer pedal-assist, it also includes a number of other handy features including a brake light, horn, headlight and embedded anti-theft system, making this a gadget that aims to make old-fashioned bicycle racks ashamed of their limited utility.
