Heavy-Duty Cargo E-Bikes

The 'Packer 1' Can Handle Substantial Loads In An Eco-Friendly Manner

Exciting electric transportation startup Velotric has launched an all new cargo e-bike in the form of the 'Packer 1,' a two-wheeler that is designed to make it easier than ever to transport riders as well as cargo without always having to rely on gas-guzzling vehicles.

The 'Packer 1' is a cargo e-bike that is fitted with a motor that is capable of generating 750 watts as well as 55 pounds-feet of torque, enabling it to hit top speeds of 32 km/h with riding controlled via an eight-speed gear setup. Constructed on an aluminum frame, this particular cargo e-bike is capable of handling riders between roughly 5.2 and 6.5 feet tall, and is fitted with a cargo rack that can handle up to 80 kg of load.

Set to be priced at $1,999, the 'Packer 1' is a fine example of how electric mobility doesn't only need to be about last-mile trips but can be used for more substantial urban life errands.
