Subway Entered into a Payment Deal with Adyen for US & Canada Stores

Subway recently signed a payment deal with Adyen, which dictates that Adyen will process the payments for many of the chain's locations across the United States and Canada. Kamran Zaki, the Chief Operating Officer for Adyen, stated the payment deal will cover over 20,000 Subway locations. Additionally, Adyen will provide the technology to process payments either in the restaurant, online or through the Subway app.
Adyen is able to process all of the most popular payment methods, while also providing detailed data related to the payment process. The Subway Chief Informational Officer, Mike Macrie spoke about the new deal, "Adyen’s payment platform will further allow Subway to bring the latest digital payment technologies to market."
Adyen is a company based out of Amsterdam and it appears to be specializing in payment systems for QSR restaurants., and the company signed a deal with McDonald's to process transactions made through the mobile app.
