Seamore's I Sea Pasta is Made Entirely Out of Sustainable Seaweed

Whether you have dietary restrictions or are devoted to living a green lifestyle, this pasta alternative is a product you will want to look into. From Dutch startup Seamore Food, I Sea Pasta is sustainably made from seaweed crowd-harvested from Ireland's west coast. Made entirely out of nori, the organic, vegan and gluten-free tagliatelle is currently seeking backers via a crowdfunding campaign on One Planet Crowd.

The healthy pasta alternative has more than the recommended daily dose of omega-3s, twice as much iron as spinach and 85% less calories than regular pasta per plate. While it may contain traces of crustaceans, the food option doesn't require fertilizer, pesticides or land.

Produced from unprocessed seaweed, I Sea Pasta is also monitoring the seawater and seaweed to ensure harvesting it doesn't harm the ecosystem.
