As common as paper shopping bags are across different retail outlets around the world, the majority of them take the form of single-use packaging that becomes rendered useless once a store-bought item has been safely transported home.
Inspired by the many supermarkets that are swapping out plastic bags for more sustainable solutions, Sue Lope created a concept for a reusable shopping tote. While the paper shopping bag features a plain exterior, the interior boasts vividly printed patters, which means that the bags may be deconstructed and reused as wrapping paper. Available patterns include stripes, spots, wavy patterns and other fun variations to fit any gifting occasion.
Many conscious consumers are looking to minimize their environmental impact by supporting the purchase of products with packaging that has the potential to be instantly reused or creatively repurposed.
