The clocks, alarm clocks, greeting cards, and magnets you see above are all Paper Scissors Rock studio products from Olympia, Washington artist Pamela Corwin.

The whimsical designs on the clocks, cards and magnets are reproductions of Corwin's original paintings. She works in acrylics and watercolors, sometimes adding elements of collage to her work. Corwin's bright, deep, jewel tones reflect the infatuation she has for color as well as her playful, creative spirit.

Implications - Consumers are becoming increasingly more interested in supporting small businesses in economically stressful times. Small businesses can benefit from these periods by creating unique and uplifting products that promote positivity. Creative and imaginative designs will appeal to consumers who are artistically inclined and want customized, handmade crafts.
