Retro Skate Gear

Palace Skateboards Curated a Playful Editorial for Its Fall/Winter Collection

Palace Skateboards, a popular brand among male youth in the UK and outside, expanded its collection with a series of retro looks that remember its roots.

The editorial for the 2016 Fall/Winter collection features Blondey McCoy as its muse, a teenage skater who's also an artist and designer. The pieces that he models speak to a vintage UK vibe, which is further enhanced by Palaces Skateboards' stylized photography. Included are a number of colorful sports jackets, waffle-textured long-sleeves, flannel shirts, branded tracksuits and illustrated sweaters.

In addition to this are accessories like hats and cross body bags, all of which carry the same retro aesthetic as the apparel. Throughput each image in the editorial from Palace Skateboards, Blondey McCoy poses causally and makes his closeness to the brand evident by flipping off the middle finger playfully or grinning widely with a gold front tooth exposed.
