Dodge created a new wrap for its upcoming 2023 Challenger titled the 'Paint Chip.' This wrap effectively showcases all 14 color options for the 2023 challenger in one vehicle, with the colors sorted by shade and intensity. This allows viewers to quickly discern which color they think suits the car better, without needing to view 14 different model cars.
The Paint Chip wrap is not a new idea, as Plymouth originally used this strategy to showcase all 25 colors for its Barracuda in 1970. Additionally, the Paint Chip wrap can be applied to any consumer Dodge Challenger sold from 2008 on. Consumers can order the wrap and bring their car into a shop to retroactively apply the Paint Chip wrap. The wrap retails for $3,700, not including installation fees.
