The Oyster 'Hello Kitty' Photoshoot Stars a Sedated Maria Palm

The Oyster 'Hello Kitty' editorial is a quirky photoshoot, to say the very least. It centers around model Maria Palm, who appears to have been sedated to hilarious effect. Dazed and confused, as the saying goes, the brunette beauty woozily roams around the cottage in outfits that somehow manage to complement and contradict the setting simultaneously. Considering that the looks are a nod to Japanese street fashion, which the title alludes to, this should come as no surprise.

Shot by photographer Colin Dodgson for the 100 issue of the magazine, the Oyster 'Hello Kitty' editorial was styled by creative director Stevie Dance. Dance went with a whimsical wardrobe filled with the likes of Proenza Schouler, Miu Miu, Hermès, Reebok, Mary Katrantzou, Rag & Bones, Acne, Haider Ackermann, Jason Wu and Chanel.
